Staff Bio

Allie Bertrand, Speech Language Pathologist
I received my master's degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL. My husband and I moved to Arizona after growing up in the Midwest. I am a current member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and enjoy working with children and adolescents in all areas of my life.
I have experience working with children and teenagers in the areas of speech sound disorders, language disorders, ASD, and AAC. So far in my career, I have provided therapy in many different settings, including the school system, private practice, teletherapy, hospitals, and home-based therapy. I enjoy working with children of all ages and it is my belief that we must always encourage and celebrate our client's strengths and abilities during therapy. I enjoy finding creative and fun ways to engage the individuals I work with through play-based activities in order to gain new skills.
If I'm not at the clinic, you can catch me reading a good book, hiking, or at a local coffee shop!
