Full-time Speech Language Pathologist

We have an immediate need for a full or part-time Speech Language Pathologist to join our amazing team. This position includes both clinic and home visits in the Chandler/Gilbert area.  Feeding experience is preferred.  Mentorship for feeding is available. Full or Part-time Occupational Therapist

Our Early Intervention opening is available.  We also have an opportunity for a part-time OT in Arizona's Team Based Early Intervention Program (AzEIP) R6 (zip codes 85037, 85035, 85043, 85339).  This position would be approximately 15 to 20 hours/wk. 

Full and Part-time Physical Therapist

One of our awesome PTs will be going on maternity leave in February 2020.  We are looking for a PT to cover her caseload.  This maternity coverage could lead to ongoing part or full time position if desired.

Office Manager

Our office has an immediate opening for a full-time Office Manager to join and help lead our team.

 

Desert Valley Pediatric Therapy’s (DVPT) Office Manager shall serve as an administrative member of DVPT.  The Office Manager will uphold DVPT values and mission.  The Office Manager is responsible for planning, executing and maintaining work systems, procedures, and policies that enable and encourage the optimum performance of its people and other resources within DVPT including oversight of daily office operations and provision of excellent customer service (full job description, duties, and responsibilities available upon request).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage DVPT office daily operations

  • Answer phone calls promptly and professionally while maintaining a positive attitude

  • Work closely with and maintain professional relationships with representatives from state agencies, medical referral sources, and insurance companies

  • Greet clients warmly and with a professional demeanor

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the functionality of the documentation, billing, scheduling, messaging, and payroll system, Central Reach

  • Work closely with therapists to ensure accurate availability in Central Reach for the purpose of scheduling clients

  • Schedule clients for therapy sessions by adding the client to Central Reach, applying the appropriate labels, adding the client to the schedule, and communicate with the therapist

  • Ensure various required documentation is received by therapists in a timely manner

  • Maintain all HR documents to ensure required documentation has been received and uploaded into Central Reach

  • Send required documentation to state agencies quarterly and as needed to maintain compliance with contract

  • Perform required audits as needed to maintain compliance with state agencies and insurance contracts

  • Manage all aspects of undergraduate and graduate student observations and placements

  • Participate in weekly Referral Meeting with billing team

  • Participate in monthly supervisor meeting with Director and discipline specific supervisors

  • Create agendas for all DVPT meetings

  • Take minutes throughout all meetings attended and share with participants

  • Gather and organize all handouts/training materials for semi-annual company meetings

  • Send birthday cards to all DVPT employees

  • Organize therapy materials/office supplies/cleaning supplies as needed throughout office

  • Provide the Director with a list of supplies needed within the clinic as needed

  • Contact professionals for repairs within the clinic as needed

  • Help to maintain the cleanliness of the clinic including the lobby, bathrooms, and therapy rooms

  • Perform opening and closing tasks

  • Manage the administrative office schedule to ensure both opening and closing tasks are assigned each day

  • Plan and order meals for various meetings as directed

  • Reports to the Director of Desert Valley Pediatric Therapy

  • Schedule service and repairs for all IT issues

  • Order evaluation protocols as needed

  • Assist Director with developing and maintaining DVPT Policies and Procedures Manual

  • Ensure all required items for meetings/events are organized and prepared (i.e. materials, equipment, lunch)

  • Support DVPT Billing Team

  • Act as a team player

  • Maintain email distribution lists

  • Keep current staffing and required documentation lists

  • Follow up after meetings to disseminate communication to appropriate email distributions

  • Assist Director to monitor, manage and update all content across DVPT website, Facebook, and Instagram

  • Post job opening on various websites as directed

  • Assist employees with all platforms (CR, I-TEAMS, OneDrive, CAQH etc.)

  • Responsible for ensuring payroll/new hire paperwork, training requirements and overall office procedure training is completed

  • Coordinate new hire training with supervisor

  • Receive and follow up on any mail

  • Delegate daily tasks in the DVPT office as needed

  • Supply cross training for other office positions and assist positions as needed

  • Additional duties assigned by Director including special projects

  • Attend and participate in trainings and meetings that are relevant to the daily operations of DVPT

Minimum qualifications:

  • Preferred 3 years office management experience

  • Preferred knowledge of DDD, EI, AHCCCS and/or private insurance billing

  • Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems and procedures

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Strong organizational and planning skills

  • Knowledge of business and management principles

  • Must be able to demonstrate quality organization, written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient computer skills with MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Office 365 and Adobe

Ability to:
