Sharran
Occupational Therapist
Sharran graduated with her Master of Science degree in occupational therapy from San Jose State University in 2008. She has had the honor of working with individuals across the lifespan from infant to adults. She has experience working in a variety of settings including home based, outpatient clinics, and assisted living facilities. She has previously had the unique opportunity to provide occupational therapy treatment through hippotherapy (utilizing equine movement).
The majority of her career has focused on pediatrics, and she places high value on working together with the family, bringing a wholistic approach to care. Occupations are the foundation of her profession, and she loves seeing a person’s face light up as they are empowered to play, learn fine or visual motor skills, and accomplish daily living skills such as being able to tie their shoes, zip up their jacket, or bake their favorite cookies.
Outside of work, Sharran enjoys spending time with her wonderful family. Her hobbies include reading, being in nature, enjoying horses as able, and cooking/baking.
