Hillary
Speech Language Pathologist
Hillary is originally from New York State. She received her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1999. Since then, she has worked exclusively in pediatrics across various settings, including elementary schools, nonprofit speech and hearing clinics, and private practices in New York, North Carolina, California, and Arizona.
Hillary has lived in the Phoenix area since 2008. She has extensive experience treating children with speech sound production disorders, language disorders related to autism, and reading delays and disorders. She is certified in the Hanen It Takes Two to Talk program and has completed continuing education in speech sound disorders, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), verbal behavior, play-based speech therapy, and the Orton-Gillingham approach.
Hillary particularly enjoys developing novel materials for her therapy sessions, tailoring them to a wide range of disorders to keep treatment engaging and effective for the children that she treats.
In her free time, Hillary enjoys watching movies, crafting, and spending time with her family, including her beloved seventeen year old Italian Greyhound Bailey.
