Emily

Early Intervention Occupational Therapist

Emily Ferris is from Cheyenne, Wyoming. She completed her Bachelors of Health and Exercise Science at Colorado State University in 2019 and her Masters of Occupational Therapy from Colorado State University in 2022. Emily has experience in the school setting as well as home-based pediatrics. Emily is currently providing services in the Arizona Early Intervention Program, serving children birth-3 years of age. She gained interest in occupational therapy as a provider for children with disabilities. Seeing the strong impact occupational therapists had on participation in daily activities, Emily began her journey of obtaining her occupational therapy license. Working with children has always been a passion for Emily. 

Emily loves empowering families and children to engage in daily activities that are important to them. She focuses on independence, purpose, and meaning through play and activities to progress towards established goals. Emily enjoys baking sourdough bread and baked goods, going on bike rides with her family, and spending time with her four kids and husband.
