Brooke Dammen

Hi! My name is Brooke and I am a Speech-Language Pathologist at Desert Valley Pediatric Therapy. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, and my Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Minnesota Duluth. During my master’s program I completed internships in both the hospital and school settings, providing services in the areas of speech, language, cognition, and swallowing to individuals of various ages. I believe communication is a basic human right and am passionate about making that right accessible. I also love working with children and value the opportunity that it provides to be a positive influence on a child’s growth and development.

In my free time I love being outdoors, specifically running, rock climbing, and hiking. I also love to read and bake, and am (very) slowly learning to play the guitar!
