Alexis

Alexis Dallacroce was raised in Arizona and earned her Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Northern Arizona University in 2022. After graduating, she worked as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant for two years, where she gained valuable experience working with children with a wide range of communication needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). During this time, she developed a passion for helping children develop meaningful communication skills, supporting each child's unique strengths, and collaborating with families to promote communication and confidence across everyday environments. 

Inspired by these experiences, Alexis pursued her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Texas A&M University–Kingsville, graduating in May 2026. Throughout graduate school and her clinical externships, she gained experience evaluating and treating pediatric clients with a wide range of communication needs. During her externship at Texas Children's Hospital Alexis worked with a large caseload of children who used Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). This experience deepened her passion for AAC as a powerful tool that empowers children to communicate effectively, express themselves, build meaningful relationships, and participate more fully in everyday life. Alexis is dedicated to providing individualized, evidence-based therapy while creating a fun, engaging, and supportive environment where every child feels confident and empowered to reach their full potential. 

Alexis is excited to begin her Clinical Fellowship and join the Desert Valley Pediatric Therapy team. She looks forward to building meaningful relationships with children and their families while helping each child develop the communication skills needed to succeed in everyday life. 

Outside of work, Alexis enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and relaxing with her two cats.
