Staff Bio
Sara, Speech Language Pathologist
Sara was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She attended Old Dominion University and received her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Special Education. Following her family’s move to the west coast, she moved to Arizona to attend graduate school at Midwestern University Glendale where she received her master's degree.
Sara has experience working with kiddos birth through adolescence with a variety of speech and language disorders, as well as feeding and swallowing difficulties/disorders. She completed her externship at Phoenix Children’s Hospital where she provided gender affirming voice therapy.
Her favorite part of being an SLP is navigating these trialing times with these kiddos and their families by being a shoulder to lean on during the difficult times, and celebrating little victories and progress alongside them. Outside of work, she enjoys hanging out with her dog Jax, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
