Staff Bio
Hannah, Speech Language Pathologist Assistant
As an Arizona native, I was born and raised in Ahwatukee with strong roots in the Midwest. Growing up I was a competitive dancer, which nurtured my creativity and resilience. My lifelong love for animals—especially dogs and otters—has been a defining part of my personality. Inspired by my younger brother’s experience with speech therapy, I knew from an early age that my calling is to be the voice for the voiceless. I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Speech, Hearing and Communication Disorders which is complemented by a minor in Developmental Psychology - from Northern Arizona University. I am fascinated with the ability to communicate using gestures; therefore studied American Sign Language to enhance my ability to connect with hearing-impaired and/or nonverbal children. Over the past seven years, I’ve happily devoted myself as a pediatric speech therapist, supporting individuals of all ages and abilities. Guiding children to advocate for themselves and discover the power within their voice has been the most rewarding and fulfilling aspect of my life so far.
