Aspen Perovich, Registered Dietitian
Aspen Perovich, MS, RDN is a registered dietitian nutritionist with experience in clinical, community, and home health medical nutrition therapy. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of New Mexico and also completed her Dietetic Internship at UNM. She graduated with distinction from her graduate program, with her Master’s Examination topic on Epigenetics and Fetal Programming. She and her family relocated to Arizona in 2015.
Aspen has experience working with clients and families affected by various feeding challenges including gastrointestinal disease and disorders, food allergies and sensitivities, diabetes and other disorders of metabolism, and those on enteral and parenteral nutrition support. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Pediatric Nutrition Practice Group. She volunteers extensively with the Commission on Dietetic Registration, helping to create and manage the credentialing exams for registered dietitians and dietetic technicians.
Aspen has three children and enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is party of the Comfort Feeding Clinic team at Desert Valley Pediatric Therapy and also sees clients for standalone nutritional evaluations.
