Erin Sargent, Speech Language Pathologist, Feeding Therapist
Erin Sargent is an Arizona native, born and raised in the west valley. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Arizona State University in 2001. Since she has always known a “dry heat”, she decided to attend graduate school in Central New York. Life rarely goes as planned; and she ended up supporting her husband in the US Army for a few years.
Erin graduated with a Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders from Syracuse University in 2007. Snowy weather is not for her, so she moved back to Phoenix to pursue her career. She has worked in pediatric home health serving the West Valley, as well as a pediatric skilled nursing facility, assisting medically fragile children. Feeding and swallowing therapy is her passion, and she has taken over seventy continuing education credits with a focus on pediatric dysphagia. Erin’s overall goal as a therapist is to help children reach beyond their potential and give their families the tools for success.
Erin is very dedicated to her work. But in her free time, she enjoys watching movies with her husband, playing Lego Batman with her son, and trying new restaurants.
