Lisa Fuller - Occupational Therapist

Lisa Fuller - Occupational Therapist Lisa Fuller has lived in Arizona for 15 years after relocating with her husband from New Hampshire. She has a Bachelor's degree in Special Education/ Early Childhood and received a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from the Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2002. Lisa worked in the school system as a teacher for 7 years and as an Occupational Therapist for 4 years. She took a few years off to spend time with her 3 girls who are now 8, 6 and 3. Lisa began working at Desert Valley Pediatric Therapy in April of 2009 and loves working with children and families in their home, where she feels children can make more meaningful progress toward their goals. She has worked with a wide variety of ages and disabilities including Autism, Downs Syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy. Lisa has experience with Sensory Integration techniques and creating individualized sensory diets in the home. She has also trained and worked with children who have feeding / eating issues. Lisa has always had a passion for working with young children with special needs, knowing that the earlier children's delays can be addressed the better progress they will make. She feels blessed to have this job, which she loves and finds very rewarding.
